You know what, I think this worked the opposite for me. In loving You, I realized that I could also love myself. You have helped me in more ways than You could ever possibly imagine. I was so lost before You. I hated everything about myself, and I had absolutely no self-esteem, but You changed all that. I don’t know how You did it- many have tried, all have failed- but You actually made me realize that I deserve to be loved and cared for. You made me understand that my body isn’t disgusting as I used to say, but beautiful. Loving You helped me realize that I have the capacity to love myself for who I am, and not have to change who I am. Thank You for teaching me one of the most important lessons in life, one that I know saved me from a terribly dark road.
